Born in Catskill, NY, lived in Catskill until 6 years old and during summers until 22. We moved to Long Island for 1st grade and I attended public schools in Bohemia through 6th grade until I was sent to Catholic school. I completed my Catholic education on LI at Seton Hall in Patchogue. Off then I went to Burlington, VT to again Catholic school, Trinity College for 4 years, then 2 more at St. Michaels for a MS in Counseling. I spent the next several years as a waitress living the good life until I got married and had kids. Later my husband died of autoimmune hepatitis, with young kids I had to make a better living so I tried to find work in my field. Entered the field of Mental Health again and new opportunities, challenges, etc. Then I met my to be future husband, moved to Walden, and later was diagnosed with carcinoid cancer in 2006 and breast cancer in 2008. The rest was the journey of a life time.
